Q. Can pregnant woman and nursing mothers use it?
A: This product can be used during pregnancy and while breastfeeding. However, individuals are different, so if you are sensitive or have allergies to certain ingredients we recommend consulting with your specialist.

Q. Can children use it?
A: Yes. This product has no chemicals or harsh ingredients. But children's skin is still fragile, so we recommend testing a small amount on the inside of their arm and neck before using it. Please be careful if you have allergies to grass.

Q. Can I use this instead of Toner?
A: Yes.  It's a Houttuynia cordata infused toner that you use at the toning step of your skincare routine. It's an essence type toner, so you'll be able to hydrate and tone the skin after cleansing.

Q. Can I use this toner as a substitute for ampoule?
A: Yes, this is essence-type toner that you can use as toner and essence/serum. If you have oily/combo skin and doesn't want to use too many products, you can use this as a serum to hydrate your skin and finish it with moisturizer. 

Q. Can I use it after dermatology treatment?
A: Always consult with your doctor but this toner contains high contents of Heartleaf that help to soothe and calm sensitized skin caused by lasers and skin treatments. 

Q. Can I use it for acne-prone skin? And suitable for sensitive skin?
A: This toner is EWG-green grade product that can be used for all skin types. Hearteaf itself acts as an antibacterial components, so those with troubled skin can get a lot of help in calming irritated and inflamed skin. 

Q. How long does one bottle of Heartleaf Essence Toner last?
A: It differs by the usage, but in average it lasts around 3-4 weeks. 

Q. Can I soak a cotton pad use it like a toning pad?
A: Yes, you can. We recommend using thin cotton pad so that with small amount, it can soak as much as it can. My personal recommendation is to use directly on the skin :) 

Q. I am almost done and it smells fishy!
A: Because this contains fresh Heartleaf extract which they naturally has a fishy marine smell. And it does not have any artificial fragrance, you are smelling natural Heartleaf smell. You don't need to worry as it's natural components of the Heartleaf and other plant extracts. 

Q. The color of the toner has changed. Should I worry?
A: The main raw material in the product, Heartleaf, may become cloudy over time due to external factors such as temperature and light. This is a natural phenomenon that occurs due to the nature of the ingredients, so please no need to worry. Rest assured, changes in color does not indicate the product is rancid (or expired). 
But as it is 100% natural ingredient, please use it within 6 months after opening:)

Q. Recommendation of including Heartleaf Essence Toner with other Dewology products?
A: You can consider this as a normal toner so use it after cleansing face.
